Intuit launches GST version of QuickBooks

Intuit QuickBooks has launched a GST ready version of its online accounting product. Targeting small businesses specifically, the product allows the users to comply with GST requirements from a laptop or even a mobile device.

Customized for Indian small businesses, QuickBooks claims it makes it easy for small businesses to track cash flow, create invoices, record expenses and auto-categorize income or expenses with the Online Bank Connect feature.
GST is expected to enable digitization of the business workflows as more businesses adopt automation as they are required to maintain and file all invoices generated.

“Storing all my data on the cloud helps me retrieve them at any given point of time – like taking my accountant everywhere I go. Registering for GST was also very easy with QuickBooks. There were certain tips and informative articles to understand the new tax policy in detail and the invoices I created were GST ready,” said Ecoscapes, proprietor, Suraj Nayak.

The company has been working on making their software GST ready in India for over a year now and has also been providing training to its users around GST through webinars and Facebook Chat sessions with India’s top accountants.
